For now, however, I'll offer some general theses on why the presence of miracles in the gospels do not keep me from affirming their reliability. Jesus's ministry took place in Galilee, especially early in his ministry, and ultimately in Jerusalem. Mark's story begins with some people bringing a paralyzed man to Jesus so that He might heal him. At first glance this seems to be a contradiction because Genesis 1 has the animals and trees created prior to the creation of man; however, both issues can be resolved by an understanding of the original language and the translation process.
